PRODEASA growing media are manufactured from high-quality raw materials that, when precisely blended, ensure the media’s effectiveness, providing drainage and aeration tailored to the needs of each crop. Each type of growing media has a different composition and a customized fertilizer blend.
All growing media are sold with the pH adjusted (5.5–6.5) and with a base fertilizer (NPK) for the start of cultivation. Among PRODEASA’s growing media, there are four main lines that differ in terms of material type and properties.
RT/RTC LINE With disease-suppressing properties. Substrates made from composted and graded Roldó that provide significant suppression of root and collar diseases while also stimulating plant growth. A product line that stands out for its drainage and aeration properties, as well as its long-term stability. Its formulation includes Sphagnum blond peat and long-fiber coconut coir for the RTC line.
PRODEASA RT50
The RT50 growing medium is a blend of blond Sphagnum peat, composted, graded bark, and organic fertilizer. It contains an organic blend of Vigorhumus H00 fertilizer at a rate of 4 kg per cubic meter.
This product is suitable for organic farming in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 of June 28, 2007, on the production and labeling of organic products, with Certification No. CT71PAE-18.6 issued by Sohiscert.
RT50 is a BLENDED GROWING MEDIUM containing 4–9.4 kg/m³ of organic fertilizer (NP), made from selected and composted pine bark and the highest-quality blond Sphagnum peat. The RT50 growing medium is a product suitable for use in ORGANIC FARMING, with high aeration capacity and a disease-suppressing effect against plant diseases caused by fungi and bacteria.
RT50 contains organic fertilizer made from animal and plant-based materials, which is applied as a base fertilizer during the first few weeks of cultivation.
This is a highly aerated growing medium with excellent drainage. Sphagnum peat provides high water-holding capacity, while the bark offers a coarse texture that promotes aeration and drainage.
The growing medium contains a base fertilizer, which helps the plant during the first few days after planting. If you wish to add additional fertilizer, it can be incorporated during the screening process, which will ensure the product is uniform.
The growing medium has a slightly acidic pH, allowing the plant to better absorb nutrients.
The Burés – Prodeasa RT50 Eco-Friendly Growing Medium is labeled in accordance with the regulatory provisions of Royal Decree 865/2010 on growing media.
Product suitable for use in organic farming in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 of June 28, 2007, on the production and labeling of organic products, with Certification No. CT71PAE-10.3 issued by Sohiscert. Heavy metal content is below the limits authorized for this classification (Class A). No special requirements are necessary for its use.
