PRODEASA growing media are manufactured from high-quality raw materials that, when precisely blended, ensure the media’s effectiveness, providing drainage and aeration tailored to the needs of each crop. Each type of growing media has a distinct composition and a customized fertilizer blend.
All growing media are sold with a corrected pH (5.5–6.5) and a base fertilizer (NPK) for the start of cultivation.
Among PRODEASA’s growing media, there are four main lines that differ in terms of material type and properties.
BV LINE
Growing media made with ECOBOSC that produce more resilient crops that tolerate transplanting into the ground better.
It is the perfect alternative to peat, as the natural presence of beneficial microorganisms in the compost has positive effects on plant growth and tolerance to adverse conditions. Its formulation also includes volcanic pozzolan (to facilitate drainage and maintain the growing medium’s structure) and 15% Sphagnum blond peat.
With a hardening effect on plants.
PRODEASA BV15
The combination of these components allows for longer intervals between waterings, which simplifies nursery management and results in plants that are more resistant to water stress after transplanting.
This is a professional-grade gardening medium recommended for growing all types of plants in planters, containers, and large pots. It is suitable for growing medium- to long-cycle plants outdoors in containers and large pots, and is particularly well-suited for shrubby plants.
The combination of the components in BV15 results in a highly versatile substrate that allows for longer intervals between waterings, thereby simplifying its management. Similarly, due to its physical characteristics and water-holding capacity, plants become more resistant to stress after transplanting.
