MIXED GROWING MEDIUM with organic-mineral NPK 8-3-3 fertilizer. It is made from a blend of vegetable compost (Mantillo), light-colored Sphagnum peat, manure compost, coconut fiber, and perlite.
KOKOFINA MIX is a homogeneous, lightweight, highly porous growing medium that is easy to apply and ready for immediate use. Due to the nature of its components and the mixing ratio, it offers high aeration capacity and excellent water retention, rapid drainage, and very good rehydration capacity. It acts as a buffer for water and nutrient supply. The KOKOFINA MIX growing medium is enriched with naturally occurring nutrients and micronutrients that remain available to plants over the long term. It contains nutrients derived from organic matter and organic-mineral NPK 8-3-3 fertilizer at a rate of 2 g/l (organic certification No. CT71PAE-15.1, Sohiscert). The amount of fertilizer added is intended as a base fertilizer and is available during the early stages of cultivation.
The process used to produce the compost is designed to yield stabilized products with consistent characteristics. The composting process ensures that the compost matures and is sanitized, reaching high temperatures that destroy the viability of unwanted seeds and plant pathogens.
