Lawn topdressing is a mixture of plant-based compounds and sandy materials that is applied after scarifying the lawn. Scarifying is a process that is usually done in the spring or fall. Scarifying breaks up the top layer of the lawn to loosen the thatch and the humus layer. After this process, it is advisable to apply the topdressing to encourage the lawn to produce new shoots and become thicker.
Lawn topdressing is a sandy material enriched with organic matter and mineral fertilizer, specially formulated for topdressing.
The entire manufacturing process, as well as the final product, is subject to our rigorous quality control procedures, which are certified under ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction and respect for the environment in all our activities.
Topdressing involves adding a thin layer of soil specially prepared for this purpose (topdressing material) to the surface of the lawn. Topdressing improves soil structure. Sandy soils are better at retaining moisture, making the lawn more drought-resistant, while clay soils drain better, thereby promoting root development.
